We don't have any grand schemes or designs for this plan, other than just sharing life with those of you in the blogging world.  We love staying in touch with you!

We've called this blog "Purposely in Love" because we think we're in love for a reason, not just accidentally!

To start things off, I want to share my great success!

I have officially applied for entrances to the Master's of Social Work program at the University of Minnesota.  Amazingly, I sent this off with a few days to spare and beat the deadline (although I didn't make my own self-imposed deadline).  Now I wait until I hear back on my status, sometime in March, according to information I received in November.

The application was a true labor of love, with a detailed resume, 1500 word research essay about lack of insurance and access for Spanish-speaking residents, and 2000 words (give or take) about why I want to be in the social work field.
